Aero Club Bar — The Whiskey Dive Bar of San Diego

EST. 1947
THE BAR MARIANNE BUILT
In 1947, a local female pilot named Marianne Profit wanted a place close to the airport where she and her fellow pilots could enjoy a drink. They built the Aero Club — and the rest was history.
Aero Club reflects Marianne's love of flying. Much of the original decor is still alive in this iconic San Diego bar, from the model planes hanging overhead to the photographs lining every inch of wall.

ABOUT AERO CLUB BAR
Aero Club Bar has poured stiff drinks at 3365 India Street in San Diego's Middletown neighborhood — between Bankers Hill, Mission Hills, and Little Italy — since 1947. What started as a hangout for local pilots near San Diego International Airport is now one of the most iconic whiskey bars in San Diego and home to one of the largest whiskey selections in Southern California — bourbon, Scotch, rye, Irish, and Japanese whisky, plus craft cocktails, smashed Wagyu burgers from Eat Your Feelings, arcade games and pinball in Dyno Bar, a dog-friendly patio, and happy hour daily until 7pm.
