I just thought about looking the Aero Club up. We came in there in late Feb. It was very rainy and we had been looking at Aeroclub for 3 weeks from the interstate on the way back to out hotel from work. My buddy and I work for a government contractor in Charleston,SC and we both have aviation backrounds and I kept saying “Tom, we’ve got to go in that place. Man, ‘Lucky’Lindbergh may have had a beer there.” Well, we found out he didn’t go there but Aero Club didn’t disappoint. Barbara was there and we had had a bad day at work up at the Naval Hospital. Barb was so cool. I would order a beer and a tee shirt for several rounds cause I kept thinking of my aviation comrades and hell they needed that Aero Club shirt as bad as I did. I spent a small fortune. But I need more of those shirts.Barbara, I saw you in these pics and That was really cool. I’d know you anywhere. I’m glad you guys have the site.I’m gonna call y’all one day and try to order some shirts! Until then, Take it Easy! Viva Aero Club! your buddy,Jon
